Colorist Krysteen Waszak, is an adventurous plein air oil painter whose color explorations take her all over the Land of Enchantment and beyond. Waszak’s contemporary painting style and color handling has a surprisingly modern feel, untraditional in plein air. The canvases are huge and the strong color sings, almost vibrating under kaleidoscopic hues; there is freedom and energy in the boldness of her expression. Painting quickly and confidently, Waszak creates a storyscape of fresh, vivid moments in time.
